Hello World …C-Programming

Hello World …C-Programming

” Hello World ” , its just a dummy text . To create this dummy text from C programming we need to follow some syntax. Pass the source code through compiler to get object file and then executed file to get the output.

To create “Hello World” program in C programming multiple keywords are used

In the above program, output will be Hello World .

In the above C program source code there is meaning for every word and that’s why they are called keywords.

#include is a directive to include header file in the source code.

<stdio.h> is the header file used for standard input and output and it is enclosed in angular bracket so that it can be used in the program . It is one of the most used and basic requirement for the C source code.

int main (){} it is the method defined where main is the name of the method and

{} is the place where body of the method is executed and () occurs with the method which says that empty argument is send in the method. In this case int is used as return type of the method .

printf(“Hello World”) ; is the method which is is defined in stdio.h file . It takes argument in the form of string and gives output in the console. Semicolon ( ; ) is the statement terminator provided to end the statement.

return 0 ; is the keyword that returns the value need to the method . As the return type of the method is int so the method returns 0 to satisfy the condition provided.

So the source code of this program provides Hello World as output. Similarly other things can be printed using the same.
