Introduction:

Sunway College Kathmandu proudly offers the AI Scholarship Award to support outstanding students willing to pursue a BSc(Hons) Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence. This scholarship aims to nurture future AI leaders and empower them to excel in this rapidly evolving field.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have completed their Grade 12 examinations conducted by the National Examinations Board (NEB) or equivalent with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0. Students who are awaiting their Grade 12 results can participate provisionally based on their Grade 11 performance.
Applicants must demonstrate their English proficiency with a minimum of
Grade B or above in English at Grade 12 and BCU EPT Listening and Speaking Test (each band 5.5)
OR
BCU-recognized English Tests: IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/ELLTS –6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all bands
Attend the AI Scholarship test preparation program, including the following:
- Free 5-day AI Workshop offered by Sunway College Kathmandu
- Early Bird Admissions Classes (attendance is mandatory)
Settle all admission fees at Sunway College Kathmandu.

Scholarship Details:

Scholarship Test & Interview:
The scholarship test for 100% Scholarship and 50% Scholarship will be conducted on December 9th, 2024, followed by scholarship interviews scheduled from December 16th to 20th, 2024.
For 30% Scholarship, the students shall be assessed by the admission committee based on their admission documents followed by an interview.

Application Deadline: Applications for the AI Scholarship Award must be submitted by June 30th, 2024.
Scholarship Awards:
- 1 Full Scholarship (100%): Awarded to one outstanding student, covering all tuition fees at Sunway College Kathmandu.
- 5 Merit Scholarships (50%): Awarded to five meritorious students, covering 50% of the total fees at Sunway College Kathmandu. Please note that this excludes admission fees, induction/ECA/CCA fees, annual fees, and university fees.
- 44 Achievement Scholarships (30%): Awarded to forty-four students, covering 30% of the tuition fees (excluding admission fees, induction/ECA/CCA fees, annual fees, and university fees).
Scholarship Renewal: The continuation of the scholarship throughout the program is contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic performance as per the scholarship policy and college regulations. Failure to meet these standards may result in the revocation of the scholarship award.
Decision Rights: All decisions regarding scholarship awards are reserved by the top management of Sunway College Kathmandu.
