Freshers Event has always been a special moment/memory for Sunway Students and teachers. This event is volunteered by student club members. The event is one night and two days of outing, where we get to bond with the new sunway college members. Every year we visit Gorkha Beach Camp for this outing event.
Gorkha Beach Camp is 3 to 4 hours from the college. After reaching the beach camp, we play games like an ice-breaker dance, treasure hunt, tug of war, and volleyball. And in the evening we gather for Mr./Ms. Freshers finale. Freshers event is choosing one new student member after a few rounds of competition. The competition has different rounds like introduction, talent, and questionnaire round. The auditions are done beforehand in college and the finale is conducted in Gorkha Beach Camp.
