Online gift shopping in Nepal often means scrolling through endless product listings with no real sense of what will actually suit the person you’re buying for. INCANTO solves this by turning gift discovery into a guided, AI-assisted experience. Users describe who they’re shopping for recipient type, occasion, budget, interests, and personality and INCANTO’s weighted matching engine scores relevant products accordingly, with a Gemini-powered AI layer adding a second pass of contextual reasoning and a friendly explanation for every suggestion.
Built for everyday shoppers, local suppliers, and platform administrators alike, INCANTO combines a Node.js/Express backend with real-time e-commerce data integration, secure Google OAuth and JWT-based authentication, and role-based access for customer, supplier, and admin portals. Suppliers onboard through a guided registration wizard, while admins track orders, revenue, and AI usage through a live operations dashboard. At checkout, an AI gift-card writer generates a personalised message, and local payment options like Khalti and eSewa keep the experience relevant to Nepali users.
By replacing generic browsing with explainable, personalised recommendations, INCANTO reduces decision fatigue for shoppers while giving local suppliers a modern digital storefront making thoughtful gifting simpler, faster, and a little more delightful for everyone involved.
