About the Project
PetPulse is a smart pet collar designed to help dog owners understand and monitor their pet’s emotional, physical, and locational wellbeing in real time. Dog owners often struggle to recognize signs of stress, anxiety, illness, or discomfort in their pets since dogs cannot communicate how they feel, and subtle behavioral changes are easy to miss in daily life. Owners also worry about their pets wandering off or getting lost, especially in unfamiliar or unsafe areas. PetPulse solves this problem by using an integrated collar device that analyzes sound patterns, movement, pulse rate, body heat,and activity levels to assess a dog’s emotional state and health condition, while GPS and GSM modules provide real-time location tracking regardless of distance. The platform also allows pet owners to track trends over time through a connected mobile application, set safe zones using geo-fencing, and receive instant alerts for unusual behavior, health concerns, or if the pet leaves a designated safe area. By combining sensor-based monitoring with location intelligence, PetPulse helps bridge the communication gap between pets and their owners, enabling proactive care, early problem detection, pet safety, and stronger emotional bonding between dogs and their families.
