We are thrilled to announce the ‘IELTS’ scholarship program for students interested in studying Artificial Intelligence (AI) for March 2025 Intake.
The college, in partnership with Birmingham City University, UK, is offering a 4-year Bachelor’s program in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. In today’s globalized era, the college has introduced the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scholarship to support and encourage students who aim to demonstrate proficiency in the English language and advance their education. The college believes that this scholarship will motivate students to pursue their degrees within the country.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have taken and passed the IELTS exam within the last two years. The scholarship amount will be based on the IELTS score, and applicants must provide proof of their results.
Sunway College has been offering a 1-year placement program as part of its 4-year degree course, where students earn 120 credits for the placement year. The college has signed agreements with over 50 IT and AI companies in Nepal to provide placement opportunities. Additionally, the college has established facilities such as an AI Lab, IoT Lab, and an Innovation and Incubation Center to nurture students’ skills and ideas, as well as provide startup funding. This initiative not only supports students in studying but also creates job opportunities within the country.
According to Principal Khushal Regmi, the college has made adequate arrangements for these facilities within the campus.
The scholarship amount will be determined based on the student’s IELTS score:
– 30% scholarship for students with an IELTS score of 6,
– 40% for those with a score of 6.5,
– 50% for a score of 7,
– 60% for a score of 7.5,
– 70% for a score of 8,
– 80% for a score of 8.5,
– and 100% for students with an IELTS score of 9.
The scholarship will be applicable to the college’s tuition fees.
