About the Project
SecondSync is an AI-based second-hand marketplace platform that aims to bring trust and organisation to informal resale trading in Kathmandu Valley, as students and young professionals currently rely on scattered Facebook groups, classifieds, and roadside markets where sellers can’t be verified and item condition can’t be confirmed. SecondSync offers an all-in-one solution that employs AI to analyse item condition from photos, assist buyers and sellers through a chatbot, and verify payments only after delivery is confirmed. SecondSync differentiates itself from competitors by combining AI-assisted trust and verification with a marketplace built specifically for campus communities, academic cycles, and student schedules.
